Huanglong Sports Center

Huanglong Sports Center is located near the Huanglong Cave Scenic Area in Hangzhou, bordered by Tianmushan Road to the north, Shuguang Road to the south, Yugu Road to the west, and Hangda Road to the east, covering an area of 1,166 acres. According to the overall plan of the sports center, the area west of the extension of Jiaogong Road spans 935 acres and primarily consists of sports facilities; the area from the extension of Jiaogong Road to the east up to Hangda Road covers 230 acres (excluding the Hangzhou Youth Sports School and Zhejiang World Trade Center) and is designated as supporting service facilities for the sports center.

Hangzhou Huanglong Sports Center is currently the largest and most fully equipped modern sports facility in Zhejiang Province. It serves as a multifunctional venue integrating sports competitions, cultural performances, fitness and entertainment, dining and accommodation, business offices, and shopping exhibitions. The center enjoys a prime location with a unique surrounding environment, pleasant scenery, convenient transportation, and easy access to daily amenities. It is situated within the same district as Zhejiang University, the Zhejiang Provincial Library, and the Zhejiang World Trade Center. The Hangzhou Swimming Training Center is also located here, making it a distinctive hub in Hangzhou where sports, culture, commerce, and tourism converge—right in the midst of the Huanglong Business District.

The main stadium of Huanglong Sports Center is a state-of-the-art structure featuring a unique architectural design and a cable-stayed membrane roof, capable of accommodating nearly 60,000 spectators. The upper section of the stands is covered with a canopy that provides shelter from rain and sun. The stadium integrates sports competitions, cultural and sports performances, fitness and entertainment, business offices, and shopping exhibitions, with a total floor area of 80,000 square meters. It includes a 400-meter standard plastic track that meets International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) standards, suitable for international track and field competitions, along with a standard turf football field. The stands are arranged to meet top-tier stadium requirements, featuring 54 VIP boxes (each 40 m²), equipped with closed-circuit television, telephones, and washrooms. On the south side, there is a parking lot with 1,000 spaces and recreational facilities.
