Located on the eastern side of the summit of Yunju Mountain. After the Xinhai Revolution, former members of the Restoration Society and key Zhejiang military and political figures such as Zhu Rui, Lü Gongwang, Ye Songqing, and Shen Junru, in memory of the martyrs and to commemorate the fifth anniversary of Qiu Jin’s martyrdom, held a memorial event, rebuilt the sports association founded by Qiu Jin, and inscribed a commemorative text on the rock face of Yunju Mountain. The inscription site is a cliff face 4 meters high and up to 8 meters wide. It is divided into three groups: The first group is located on the left side of the rock face, inscribed with “Clouds and Mountains Through the Ages” (云山万古) in running script, with individual characters approximately 0.45 meters tall and 0.35 meters wide. The second group is in the middle section of the rock face and is divided into two parts. The upper part reads: “In the first year of the Republic of China, the Zhejiang Sports Association was established. Monk Daxiu of Shengshui Temple donated mountain land, and Mr. Wang Xiangquan gifted the rocky surface for the carved inscription. Thus, these four characters are inscribed to commemorate the occasion. Recorded by Lü Wang of Yongkang, calligraphy by Ye Songqing of Ninghai.” This is also in running script, with characters about 0.10 meters tall and wide. The lower part reads: “Leisurely Interest” (逸趣), in running script, with characters approximately 0.50 meters tall and wide, and dated 1916. The third group is on the right side of the rock face, featuring the regular script character “Steadfast” (贞固), with characters about 0.53 meters tall and 0.40 meters wide. The Zhejiang Sports Association is one of the earliest sports associations in modern China.
