Located on Mapo Ridge, Jiqing Mountain, Shuangfeng Village, Xihu District. Shi Liangcai (1880–1934), courtesy name Jiaxiu, was originally from Jiangning, Jiangsu, and was born in Songjiang (now Shanghai). In the late Qing Dynasty, he served as the chief editor of the Shanghai newspaper "Shi Bao." In 1913, together with Zhang Jian and others, he purchased the ownership of "Shen Bao" and became its general manager. After the September 18th Incident, he criticized Chiang Kai-shek's policy of "internal pacification before external resistance," advocating unity against Japanese aggression. After the outbreak of the January 28th War of Resistance, he served as the head of the local defense committee, actively supporting the 19th Route Army’s resistance efforts. He also published works by progressive figures such as Soong Ching-ling, Lu Xun, Ba Jin, and Lao She in "Shen Bao" to oppose reactionary politics. On November 13, 1934, he was assassinated by Kuomintang agents in Wengjiabu, Haining, Zhejiang. The tomb was built in 1936, facing south, constructed from granite, and covering an area of 200 square meters. The tomb consists of three terraces built along the mountain slope. The octagonal burial chamber houses a bronze coffin, and the tomb is covered with carved stone eaves, featuring upturned wing corners. The five characters of the tombstone inscription “Tomb of Shi Liangcai” were written by Zhang Taiyan.
