Former Site of the Drafting Office of the Sino-US Joint Communiqué
The former site of the drafting office of the Sino-US Joint Communiqué is located in the Octagonal Pavilion within Building 1 of Liu Zhuang at No. 18 Yanggongdi, Santai Mountain Community, West Lake Scenic Area, Hangzhou.
In February 1972, Nixon and Zhou Enlai initialed the famous Sino-US Joint Communiqué here.
On January 7, 2011, it was announced as part of the sixth batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units.
