The First Battle Memorial Museum of the Resistance Against Japan in the Rear Area of Sanbei is located in Yanning Village, Chongshou Town, Cixi City, beside the First Battle Memorial Monument of the Resistance Against Japan in the Rear Area of Sanbei.

In 2005, on the 60th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan and the World Anti-Fascist War, the First Battle Memorial Monument of the Resistance Against Japan in the Rear Area of Sanbei was upgraded to the First Battle Memorial Museum of the Resistance Against Japan in the Rear Area of Sanbei with joint funding of 150,000 yuan from the local government and the Hangzhou Bay Development Zone of Cixi. The museum covers a construction area of approximately 700 square meters and consists of two floors — the first floor serves as the village elderly activity center, while the second floor houses the museum. Inside the museum, historical photos and materials related to the first gunfire in eastern Zhejiang since 1941 are displayed. On June 18, 1941, the people of Sanbei fired the first shot against the Japanese in the rear area, marking the beginning of an intense resistance campaign. Remarkably, they killed and wounded 16 Japanese soldiers without suffering any casualties on their side.
