The Changhe Town Ecological Agriculture Park, which enjoys a high reputation in Ningbo City, has increasingly become a demonstration base for scientific research, seed and seedling projects, and the production of high-quality agricultural products. Stepping into the agriculture park, hundreds of acres of land are covered under a canopy of steel frames and plastic film. Various vegetables and fruits are planted in specially designed trough frames, with a thin layer of yellow soil at the bottom. The lush crops rely solely on this mere few centimeters of soil to survive and grow. Each type of vegetable here is cultivated with high-tech methods, and the produce is tested to be truly green and pollution-free.

When visitors lift the curtain and enter the park, they are greeted by tomatoes the size of dates, dark green cucumbers covered in fine but non-prickly spines, and purplish-red tomatoes round like apples... Thanks to the spring-like conditions inside the greenhouse—where temperature and humidity are just right—any kind of vegetable can thrive. No chemical fertilizers or pesticides are used here, not even the thin layer of yellow soil, which has been tested to contain no harmful substances exceeding safety standards. The nutrients required by the crops come from a substance known as bio-fertilizer, which helps plants fix nitrogen, while sunlight and air serve as the best natural nourishment for the crops.

In the past, thriving crops were often plagued by insects. People would carry pesticide tanks and spray guns, killing pests while also exposing themselves to heavy pollution. But in the Changhe Town Ecological Agriculture Park, chemical pesticides have been completely eliminated. Pests cannot approach, there's no need for weeding or loosening the soil, nor for braving wind and snow. Crops grow healthily thanks to effective science and technology. When people get close to them, they will find that this is an ideal kingdom of future agriculture.
