Beixi Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiaxing City.

Beixi Bridge is located in Group 7, Fantan Village, Wangjiangjing Town, Xiuzhou District, Jiaxing City, at the entrance from Nantianhua Pond to Muxi. Volume 3, "Fords and Bridges" of the *Xincheng Miscellaneous Records* from the Xianfeng and Tongzhi periods of the Qing Dynasty records "Beixi Bridge." Volume 6, "Fords and Bridges" of the *Xincheng Town Annals* from the 12th year of the Republic of China (1923) also contains records of the renovation of "Beixi Bridge." In 2004, the central span of the bridge collapsed, and the Wangjiangjing Town People’s Government rebuilt it with concrete beams and added guardrails to the bridge deck. Originally a five-span beam-type stone slab bridge running east-west, the current bridge has a total length of 35.1 meters, a ramp length of 6.1 meters, a width of 3 meters, a height of 3.5 meters from the bridge bottom to the water surface, a bridge deck paved with four flat stone slabs, and bridge columns formed by three vertically placed stone slabs. The bridge body is carved with patterns. There are 11 and 8 stone steps on the eastern and western ramps respectively, topped with concrete slabs. The eastern end extends into a long embankment tens of meters in length. There is no bridge plaque or inscribed couplet. Although Beixi Bridge is severely damaged, it had significant historical influence. The remaining bridge components are of great help in studying the architectural craftsmanship of ancient bridges and still hold high historical and scientific value. It was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit of Jiaxing in 1992.
