Departure with Eslite Airline Concept! China Airlines' first new 777-300ER aircraft makes its maiden flight to Hong Kong on National Day

China Airlines’ first new 777-300ER aircraft was officially delivered on October 3. The new aircraft has begun operating on Asian regional routes, with its inaugural flight CI601 from Taipei to Hong Kong taking off at 7:27 AM today (the 10th). It will then make its first flight to Bangkok on October 14.

The Boeing 777-300ER fleet was designed by designer Chen Ruixian, who also designed Eslite. The new aircraft design emphasizes safety and fuel efficiency, while integrating modern technology and design. The cabin lighting changes dynamically, giving it a strong cultural and creative atmosphere. China Airlines has introduced a premium economy class for the first time, featuring increased seat pitch and fixed backrests that do not tilt backward into the personal space of passengers in the row behind. Economy class seats feature a slim backrest design, increasing knee space and allowing a recline angle of nearly 120 degrees, providing a more comfortable seating experience.
