The wildly popular “My Love from the Star” special exhibition that captivated fans recently, after its run at Seoul’s Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), triggered a pilgrimage wave. But where did these precious “real” sets go after the exhibition ended? The answer lies in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, closer to Incheon Airport.

Organized by South Korea’s SBS TV station, the “My Love from the Star” special exhibition recreates the story from 400 years ago when Do Min-jun and Cheon Song-yi first met, sparking their fated romance across lifetimes. From the palanquin Xu Yihua rode in, her traditional attire, and the pivotal jade hairpin, to the apartment elevator where the two meet again in the modern day—the hilarious scene where Cheon Song-yi mistakes Do Min-jun for a stalker comes rushing back, followed by the tender everyday moments of their neighboring lives, all authentically reproduced. This allows fans to relive the show’s romantic, time-transcending love story. One of the most beloved sections for female visitors is the chance to walk into Do Min-jun’s home, explore his grand dreamlike study, and even “sit” on his bed. This immersive experience has truly thrilled female fans.

The biggest highlight of the “My Love from the Star” exhibition is the homes of Do Min-jun and Cheon Song-yi. Remember their first meeting in the apartment elevator, where Cheon Song-yi mistook Do Min-jun for a creepy stalker? The exhibition lets you fully relive that moment. Even better, fans can visit Do Min-jun’s luxurious living room, his favorite garden nook for reading and night views, step into his bedroom, sit on his bed, and have staff take commemorative photos. The “Professor Do’s Study,” filled with books from ancient to modern times and from East to West, also lets visitors channel their inner Do Min-jun. Of course, fans of Jun Ji-hyun can also step into her princess-like bedroom, featuring a round bed frame, pink wall photos, and an elegant vanity.
