The Dafutang Site is located at the western end of Danghu Road in Danghu Subdistrict. It dates back to the Neolithic Age and is classified as an ancient ruin.

On January 23, 1984, the Dafutang Site was designated as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Pinghu City.

Danghu Subdistrict: Danghu Subdistrict is the location of the municipal Party committee and government of Pinghu. It lies at the eastern end of the Hangjiahu Plain in northern Zhejiang Province, bordering Hangzhou Bay to the south, Shanghai to the east, and Nanhu District of Jiaxing to the west. The area is positioned as a central urban district primarily focused on commerce and residential functions.
