Xintai Taiping Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Pinghu City.

Xintai Taiping Bridge is located to the north of Baojia Bridge in Xintai Town. Dating back to the 35th year of the Qianlong reign during the Qing Dynasty, it is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

On February 5, 1998, Xintai Taiping Bridge was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Pinghu City.

Xintai Town: Xintai Town is situated in the northern part of Zhejiang Province, on the Hangjiahu Plain at the forefront of the Yangtze River Delta, on the northern shore of Hangzhou Bay. It serves as the “northern gateway” of Pinghu City. To the northeast, it neighbors Jinshan District of Shanghai; to the west, it borders Jiashan County; to the south, it faces Zhapu Port, one of China’s major eastern ports, and lies close to the under-construction Hangzhou Bay Cross-Sea Bridge. Just a stone’s throw from the international metropolis of Shanghai, the town enjoys convenient transportation and a prime geographical location, making it a small coastal open town with tremendous development potential.
