Qingxi Bridge
Qingxi Bridge is a Pinghu Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
Qingxi Bridge is located in Gonghe Village, Lindai Town. Dating back to 1956 during the Republic of China period, it is categorized as a modern-era significant historical site and representative architecture.
On June 18, 2004, Qingxi Bridge was designated as a Pinghu Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
Lindai Town: Lindai Town is situated in the northeastern part of the Hangjiahu Plain, bordering Shanghai to the east and the Hangzhou Bay to the south. It is one of the coastal towns of Pinghu City, Zhejiang Province. Located approximately 90 kilometers from Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Suzhou, the town enjoys a superior geographical position and convenient water and land transportation. The Shanghai-Hangzhou Highway and Hangzhou-Jinhua Highway run east-west through the area, while the Zhapu-Wuxi Expressway, Zhawang Highway, and the inland waterway of the Zhapu-Jiashan-Suzhou Canal traverse it north-south. The town lies just 5 kilometers south of “the Eastern Great Port”—Zhapu Port, placing it in the golden zone of the Shanghai economic sphere. Covering an area of 51.8 square kilometers with a population of nearly 40,000, the town administers 12 administrative villages and 2 residential committees.
