The Pit of One Hundred
The Pit of One Hundred is a cultural relic protection unit of Pinghu City.
The Pit of One Hundred is located in Yazibei Natural Village, Jianzhong Village, Dushan Port Town. Dating back to the 30th year of the Republic of China (1941), it is categorized as an important modern historical site and representative structure.
On February 10, 2010, the Pit of One Hundred was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Pinghu City.
Jianzhong Village: Located in the northeastern part of Dushan Port Town, Jianzhong Village borders Jinsha Village and Suilun Village within the town to the east, neighbors Xincang Town to the west and north, and adjoins Qianjin Village within the town to the south. Covering a total area of 6.02 square kilometers, the village has 4,323 mu of arable land, encompasses 13 villager groups, and has a total of 1,234 households. The population of Jianzhong Village is 4,659, with over 1,200 non-local residents, including 144 Party members. Within the village jurisdiction, there are three new residential clusters: East Zone, South Zone, and West Zone.
