The Landing Site of Japanese Invading Troops in Xigang Bay is located in Xigang Bay Natural Village, Xinghua Village, Dushan Port Town. Dating back to the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), it is categorized as an important modern historical site and representative structure.
On February 10, 2010, the Landing Site of Japanese Invading Troops in Xigang Bay was designated as a cultural relics protection unit of Pinghu City.
Dushan Port Town: Located on the northern shore of Hangzhou Bay, Dushan Port Town covers a total area of 61 square kilometers with a population of 52,100. It administers 14 administrative villages and 2 neighborhood committees. It is 90 kilometers east of Shanghai and 130 kilometers west of Hangzhou. National highways such as the Shanghai-Hangzhou Road, Shanghai-Hangzhou Bypass, Pinglang Road, and Duxin Road intersect in a "three horizontal and one vertical" pattern. It is among the first batch of China’s Hundred Star Towns, a Zhejiang Provincial Sanitary Town, a Jiaxing Municipal Civilized Town, and an advanced town in the national campaign “New Trends of Marriage and Childbirth Reach Every Family.”
