King Wuyue Park
Commonly known as King Wu Temple, the King Wu Temple was originally built during the Chongning era of the Song Dynasty. The temple enshrines Qian Liu (852–932), the king of the Wuyue Kingdom during the Five Dynasties period. He was honored with a memorial shrine here for his contributions to the local people, including constructing seawalls, building sluice gates, and dredging waterways in Haiyan. It has a history of nearly a thousand years.
The reconstructed King Wuyue Park officially opened to the public in 2000. It is a cultural park consisting of an exhibition hall, a traditional opera stage, side rooms, and the Hall of King Wuyue.
