Attraction Introduction

Located 1.7 kilometers south of the south channel bridge of the Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge and about 18 kilometers from the southern shore, Sea-Heaven Unity features a color scheme dominated by white and blue, resembling an eagle in flight holding a pearl. If you're driving across the Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge, don't miss Sea-Heaven Unity — it's a great spot to admire the bridge, enjoy ocean views, and relax while shopping.

During the construction of the cross-sea bridge, this offshore platform served as a base for engineering surveys, emergency rescue, and material storage. After completion, it was transformed into a maritime traffic service and rescue platform, as well as an exceptional tourism and sightseeing destination, and was given the beautiful name “Sea-Heaven Unity.”

The scenic area consists of an observation platform and an observation tower. The observation platform has six floors, with the third floor being the main sightseeing level. It features an open-air viewing area where visitors can enjoy the ever-changing sea views at different times of day and take in the beautiful sights of the cross-sea bridge and Hangzhou Bay. The shopping area offers products such as Ningbo Mengjie seafood, mulberry juice, Wanghai tea, as well as Zhejiang specialties like Jinhua ham, Putuo Mountain Guanyin cake, Shaoxing rice wine, and Dongpo pork from Louwailou.

The observation tower (Pearl Tower), standing to the east of the observation platform, rises 145.6 meters high with 16 floors and is connected via a footbridge. Take the elevator directly to the lower level of the circular observation gallery on the 16th floor, then climb the stairs to the upper level. From a height of 120 meters, you can take in the vast expanse of the Hangzhou Bay and the bridge that resembles a rainbow. Through the panoramic floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the seaside observation gallery, gaze at the surging waves of the Hangzhou Bay, listen to the powerful roar of the tides, and admire the majestic sight of the cross-sea bridge — a stunning seascape unfolds before your eyes. When night falls, the lights on the bridge illuminate brilliantly, creating a majestic atmosphere that’s completely different from the daytime experience.

Transportation

Trucks and large buses are not permitted to enter the Sea-Heaven Unity scenic area. Visitors are advised to travel by private car or join a tour group. (The original shuttle service between the north and south shore service areas was discontinued in 2014.)
