Wenxiwu

Wenxiwu is a small scenic spot newly developed under the Beautiful Countryside Project in recent years. It is located along the old Shanghai-Hangzhou Highway between Qianshan Town and Ganpu Town, near Zhoujiashè in Ganpu Town. What our parents used to call "Běnjīwù" now has an elegant new name — "Wenxiwu."

Walking paths paved with blue bricks, bridge railings made of red tiles, and poems on the walls. The new rural construction in Wenxiwu is full of the unique charm of a Jiangnan village. The village also has an exhibition hall showcasing farming civilization. Though there aren’t any valuable antiques, it’s still quite impressive for a small village with just 50 households.
