The Ruins of the Chengguan Wall in Changu are situated in the western part of Changu Village within the Nanbeihu Scenic Area. They date back to the Ming Dynasty and are classified as an ancient architectural structure.
On January 3, 2003, the Ruins of the Chengguan Wall in Changu were designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Haiyan County.
Nanbeihu Scenic Area (Changu Town): Located at the junction of the Hangzhou–Jiaxing–Shanghai triangle region, Changu Town was established in 717 AD. It is a renowned ancient town with over a thousand years of historical and cultural heritage and is also a well-known hometown of overseas Chinese in northern Zhejiang. The town enjoys a pleasant climate, abundant local produce, and has long been known for its bustling markets, thriving commerce, and rich cultural life. To the west of the town lies Nanbeihu Lake, which has been praised as the "Little West Lake" for the past eight hundred years. It is China’s only scenic area that integrates mountain, sea, and lake views, and has been recognized by the Shanghai Great World Guinness Records.
