The Qian Family Ancestral Hall in Shenhuang is a cultural heritage site protected by Haiyan County.
The Qian Family Ancestral Hall in Shenhuang is located 20 meters northeast of Zhongqian Bridge in Zhongqian Village, Shenhuang Town. Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, it is classified as an ancient building.
On January 3, 2003, the Qian Family Ancestral Hall in Shenhuang was designated as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Haiyan County.
Zhongqian Village: Zhongqian Village is situated in the central-southern part of Shenhuang Town. It borders Sanlian Village of Yucheng Town to the south, connects with Wusheng Village to the east and Xinfeng Village to the north. The village was formed from the merger of the former Zhongqian Village and Huangnipo Village. It covers an area of 8.3 square kilometers, with 5,953 mu of cultivated land, 37 contracting groups, 1,198 households, and a total population of 4,491. The village committee is located east of Shenhuang Grand Bridge.
The village has established a Party general branch with 90 members, under which there are two Party branches. The village’s “two committees” (Party committee and villagers’ committee) consist of five members.
