Reconstruction of Yongning Bridge
The Reconstruction of Yongning Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected by Haiyan County.
The Reconstruction of Yongning Bridge is located 80 meters east of Hanjia Bridge in Tongyuan Village, Tongyuan Town. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.
On June 11, 2010, the Reconstruction of Yongning Bridge was announced as a cultural heritage site protected by Haiyan County.
Tongyuan Town: Located in the southwestern part of Haiyan County, Tongyuan Town borders Qingshan Town to the east, Ganpu Town to the south, Yuanhua Town of Haining City to the west, and connects with Wuyuan and Yucheng towns to the north. The Jiaxing East-West Avenue runs through the town from northeast to southwest, while Liulu Highway crosses it from north to south. It is also the starting point of the Liupingshen Waterway, making transportation very convenient. The town government is situated on Nanjie Street in Tongyuan Township.
Agriculture mainly focuses on grain and oil production, silkworm breeding, and animal husbandry, with silkworm cocoons and livestock being the main sources of income for local farmers.
