The Geshan Site
The Geshan Site is a cultural heritage conservation unit of Haiyan County.
The Geshan Site is located on the southern slope of the eastern part of Geshan Mountain in Xueshuigang Village, Tongyuan Town. It dates back to the Maqiao Culture to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and is classified as an ancient site.
On June 11, 2010, the Geshan Site was designated as a cultural heritage conservation unit of Haiyan County.
Xueshuigang Village: Xueshuigang Village is situated to the east of Tongyuan Town, adjacent to Qingshan. The village covers a total area of 4.34 square kilometers, comprising 18 residential groups with a total population of 2,271. The current arable land area is 3,929 mu, including 3,250 mu of paddy fields and 679 mu of dry land. The main agricultural activities are grain cultivation and sericulture. There are over 20 enterprises of various sizes in the village, with the dominant industries being decorative panels and garments.
In the southeastern part of our village lies Ma'anshan Mountain, and in the northeastern part is Yingshan Mountain, where tea is grown, covering a total area of about 200 mu.
