The former site of the Shenhuang Old Farmers' Association is located at No. 1 Jinjia Lane, Benhu East Road, Shenhuang Town, built in the Qing Dynasty, and categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

On June 11, 2010, the former site of the Shenhuang Old Farmers' Association was designated as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Haiyan County.

Shenhuang Town: This ancient town in the Jiangnan region—Shenhuang Town—is situated on the northern shore of Hangzhou Bay within Haiyan County, Zhejiang Province, adjacent to the international metropolis Shanghai. The provincial-level scenic area “South-North Lake” and the world-famous “Haining Tides” are nearby. The town’s establishment dates back to the 25th year of the Qin Shi Huang reign (222 BC), and it now serves as an economic hub and political-cultural center in the northwest of Haiyan County. The town covers a total area of 61.87 square kilometers, with a population of 36,000, including a town area of 3.02 square kilometers. It governs 10 administrative villages and one neighborhood residents’ committee.
