It was built to worship the Earth God and the God of Grain. The temple features a flush-gable roof with three bays and has a total width of 19.20 meters and a total depth of 43.40 meters. It underwent full restoration and was opened to the public in 2003. The main hall enshrines all the Five Earth Emperors—Yellow Emperor, Blue Emperor, Red Emperor, White Emperor, and Black Emperor. It is one of the Taoist practice sites in Haining.
