The Jiaxing Mao Zedong Tide-Watching Poetry Stele Pavilion is a classic site on China's red tourism routes.

The Mao Zedong Tide-Watching Poetry Stele Pavilion is located in the middle section of Yanguan Tide-Watching Park. It was built in 1994 with the approval of the Central Propaganda Department to commemorate Comrade Mao Zedong’s visit to Yanguan to watch the tide on September 11, 1957. The pavilion is 17 meters high and covers an area of 90 square meters. Shaped hexagonally, it was unveiled during the Tide-Watching Festival in 1995. The poetry stele inside bears Mao Zedong’s seven-character quatrain poem “Viewing the Tide” along with an inscription.
