The ruins of the Old Haining Prefecture City are located on the wall of Gongchen Gate in Yanguan Town and date back to the Yuan Dynasty. They are classified as ancient city ruins.
On July 28, 2003, the ruins of the Old Haining Prefecture City were designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Haining City.
