Princess Tomb Ruins
The Princess Tomb Ruins are a Haining Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
The Princess Tomb Ruins are located on Dongshushan in Shuangshan Village, Haichang Subdistrict, dating back to the Neolithic Age–Song Dynasty, and are classified as an ancient ruin site.
On August 11, 2010, the Princess Tomb Ruins were designated as a Haining Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
Shuangshan Village: Located in the northern part of Xiashi, Shuangshan Village borders Changshuitang to the east, Shuangxi Village to the south, Shuangfeng Village to the west, and Jiaxing's Xiuzhou District to the north. The village covers an area of 4.8 square kilometers, comprising 18 natural villages divided into 17 villager groups, with 546 households and a population of 2,038. The arable land area spans 3,868 mu, including 1,732 mu of paddy fields, 1,197 mu of dry land, and 939 mu of fish ponds.
In 2004, the village’s total economic income was 83.94 million yuan, with 1.066 million yuan in collective disposable income, and an average per capita income of 6,687 yuan for villagers.
