Xu Xingbin’s Residence
Xu Xingbin’s Residence is a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
Xu Xingbin’s Residence is located at No. 15 Huayuan Lane, Zhouwangmiao Community, Zhouwangmiao Town. It was built during the Republic of China period and is categorized as a modern-era important historical site and representative building.
Xu Xingbin’s Residence is a fairly typical Western-style building from the late 1920s and holds certain representativeness among the modern Western-style architecture in Haining City. Xu Xingbin was an important historical figure during our province's Xinhai Revolution period, making his former residence of significant memorial and historical value.
On August 11, 2010, Xu Xingbin’s Residence was designated as a Haining Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
Zhouwangmiao Community: Zhouwangmiao Community consists of four small towns—Dajingchang Town, Shijing Street, Boruqiao Street, and Zhouwangmiao Street. Stretching ten kilometers from north to south, it comprises 24 residential groups, covering an area of about one square kilometer, with a total of 867 households and a population of 2,208. The community has one Party branch, currently with 64 members, including 63 full members, 1 probationary member, 3 aspiring members, 35 retired members, 29 active-duty members, and 6 members working away from home, among whom 13 have received education at college level or above.
