Tomb of Consort Zhai
The Tomb of Consort Zhai is a cultural relic protection unit of Haining City.
The Tomb of Consort Zhai is located to the south of No. 11, Shuixinli, Dongsheng Village, Chang’an Town. It dates back to the Three Kingdoms period and is classified as an ancient tomb.
On August 11, 2010, the Tomb of Consort Zhai was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Haining City.
Chang’an Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Haining City. In 1958, the Chang’an People’s Commune was established, which was restructured into a county-level town in 1961. In 1992, Chang’an Township was merged into the town. Covering an area of 43.1 square kilometers with a population of 52,000, it is traversed by the Shanghai–Hangzhou Railway. The town administers 16 village committees: Chushi, Dongchen, Yancang, Luer, Tianming, Hongjin, Xinmin, Vegetable Village, Laorzhuang, Dongguan, Wandu, Weiguo, Xiaowang, Jinqiao, Mugang, and Fishermen. Its industries mainly produce white raw silk, machinery, electric fans, copper and iron padlocks, leather clothing, and metal rolling products.
