The Portrait Stone Tomb in Chang’an Town is located at No. 96 Qingnian Road, Chang’an Town, Haining City, Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, within Haining Middle School of Zhejiang Province. It was excavated in 1973.

The tomb is built with a combination of brick and stone. Its layout includes a front and rear chamber linked by a corridor, with an annex on each side of the front chamber. The lower parts of the tomb walls are made from long rectangular limestone blocks, while the upper parts are constructed with brick arches. The stone sections of the front chamber, annexes, and corridor are covered with carved portraits depicting scenes such as processions of chariots and horses, kitchens, banquets, musical performances and acrobatics, and historical stories. The carving techniques combine relief and incised line engraving. Excavated artifacts include pottery figurines, porcelain ware, coins, and more. This is a relatively rare example of a portrait stone tomb discovered in Zhejiang. It is now a national-level cultural heritage protection site.
