Xiaopu Temple is one of the five major Buddhist temples in Yanguan. Originally a nunnery, it was renamed “Xiaopu” during the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty. At its peak, thousands of worshippers visited. Every year on the 17th day of the eighth lunar month, the “Sushan Gathering” is held.
