Gao Di Ruins
The Gao Di Ruins are a protected cultural heritage site of Jiaxing City.
The Gao Di Ruins are located in Group 30, Xushan Village, Daqiao Town, Nanhu District, Jiaxing City, covering an area of 4,000 square meters. The site is situated on higher ground, with an earthen mound about 1 meter high. During land reclamation to the east of the site, a large number of Neolithic Liangzhu culture pottery shards and a bronze sword were unearthed, with many pottery fragments scattered across the ground. In 1983, during the second national cultural relics survey, stamped pottery shards and stone axes and halberds were collected, indicating that the site dates from the Neolithic Liangzhu culture period to the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. The ruins cover a relatively large area, span a long time period, and feature abundant cultural remains, giving them significant historical and scientific value. They were designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site of Jiaxing City in 1992.
