On the Puyang River in Zhuji, there are many magnificent modern bridges, among which one eye-catching bridge is called Xishi Bridge.

Xishi Bridge is very grand, over 120 meters long and more than 20 meters wide, with the middle section for vehicles and sidewalks on both sides. It is entirely constructed from a mixture of cement and steel. Under the bridge, there are two thick and tall piers that steadily support the structure. On both sides of the bridge deck, there are two neat rows of streetlights, like guards standing watch on the bridge. In the middle of the bridge, there are two red arched cable conduits, resembling a rainbow after the rain, making the bridge both beautiful and majestic. On the left and right sides at the top of the main arch, there are three smaller arches. Normally, the constantly flowing river water passes through the main arch, and during floods, the water can also flow through these three smaller arches.

Xishi Bridge showcases the wisdom and skill of the working people and is a source of pride for the people of Zhuji.

Address: Zhuji City, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province
