At 9:30 a.m., the competition officially commenced with the speed climbing event. Athletes competed in pairs, each climbing the same two routes once, with the best score determining their final result. The winners advanced to the next round. The speed event tested the athletes' explosive power and hand-foot coordination.

Following the speed event was the difficulty climbing event, which was divided into four age-based categories. Each category had its own designated difficulty route, and athletes had to climb within a set time on fixed routes. Scores were based on completion rate and time, ultimately determining each athlete’s overall performance. The difficulty event tested the athletes’ strength and technique. Due to these characteristics, the difficulty event was highly entertaining. Throughout the competition, athletes gave their all without giving up easily—this is the true spirit of sportsmanship.
