Zhuji City Museum is located on Lingtang Hill, Dongyi Road, Chengguan Town, Shaoxing City (next to Children's Park). The main building of the museum is built along the hillside, featuring undulating heights and a majestic presence. Designed in a Han-style architectural motif with a high platform and square roof, the building uses - as its dominant tone and connects various sections internally via winding corridors. The Historical Relics Gallery mainly introduces Zhuji’s five-thousand-year-long history. It is divided into three major sections: Ancient Yue’s Old Capital, Eastern Zhejiang’s Renowned County, and A Land of Outstanding People. Through unearthed artifacts, materials, and photos, it showcases a Zhuji that boasts a long history, developed agriculture, abundant local specialties, flourishing literary culture, and a succession of notable figures.

The Chen Hongshou Memorial Hall is specially dedicated to commemorating Chen Hongshou, a master painter of his generation. The exhibition hall displays an introduction to Chen Hongshou’s life and works by some of his disciples from the Chen School.

The Pearl Gallery is a distinctive exhibition space rich in local character. Zhuji is known nationwide as the “Hometown of Pearls,” and in 1996, it was recognized as a National Folk Art Village—specializing in Pearl Stringing Art. The gallery exhibits the cultivation and processing of pearls, showcasing rare pearl treasures such as the “Moonlight Pearl” and a variety of exquisite pearl craftworks.

The Folk Customs Gallery recreates the local traditions of the Jiyang region through four sections: Festival Ceremonies, Daily Life, Agricultural Production, and Folk Crafts.

The Temporary Exhibition Hall is primarily used to host various exhibitions on science, education, and art on an irregular basis.
