Announcement Date: April 13, 1981

Located on Qianshantou, Shuixia Zhang Village, Paitou Town. Zhang Qiuren (1898–1928), whose formal name was Muhàn and courtesy name Qiúchún, was a native of Zhuji. In 1921, he joined the “Chinese Socialist Research Association,” and in the second half of that year, he joined the Communist Party of China. He served successively as an alternate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, an alternate member of the Shanghai District Committee of the CPC, and secretary of the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Anhui Regional Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Shanghai Local Committee. In 1926, he worked as a political instructor at the Whampoa Military Academy in Guangzhou. In September 1927, he was appointed Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CPC. Later that year, he was arrested in Hangzhou. In February of the following year, he was executed in the Zhejiang Provincial Military Prison. The tomb faces south and covers an area of 1,800 square meters. The grave mound has a diameter of 3.5 meters and is built with stone blocks. The site is enclosed by a brick wall and features a gatehouse.
