The first row of side rooms has nine bays in parallel, with a three-bay tower hall to the north; the second row has thirteen parallel bays, with two additional cross-courtyards to the south. Ji Shu Hall also faces east but is slightly smaller in scale. It consists of three courtyards along the central axis, wing rooms, and rooms outside the courtyard walls, although the front hall along the central axis has been destroyed.
