Qipan Xian Valley is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Qipan Xian Valley Sightseeing Forestry Park is located just 5 kilometers from Xincheng County in Zhejiang Province, making it very convenient for both out-of-town visitors and local residents to explore. The valley offers natural landscapes such as steep cliffs, peculiar peaks, serene streams, waterfalls, clear waters, dense forests, and tea plantations, as well as cultural elements like mountain village charm, historical sites, and legendary tales. It also provides ecological conditions including fresh air, clean water sources, an elegant environment, and a comfortable climate. Though not high, the mountains in Qipan Xian Valley are layered and undulating; though the peaks are not sharp, they are charming and full-bodied; though the streams are not deep, they have shaped numerous towering peak forests, steep and broad cliffs, and uniquely shaped rock formations. There are figures resembling celestial soldiers and beasts, lions, elephants, cats, mice, bats, and frogs—each sparking the imagination. The 2.5-kilometer-long, winding Qipan Gully serves as the main trail. Along the path, visitors can walk along small trails, stone bridges, and stepping stones to enjoy beautiful mountain, rock, water, and tree scenery, admire peculiar waterfalls and strange rocks, see flowers and fruits covering the hills, smell the fragrance of tea in the green fields, listen to the chirping of cicadas and birds, as if entering a fairyland. They can also participate in activities such as fishing by the pond, having a picnic in the mountains, and picking fruits, experiencing the joy of rural life.

Qipan Xian Valley is steeped in antiquity. Here you’ll find towering trees over 500 years old, two well-preserved ancient bridges named Yongning and Wanfu, and a mud-walled house covered in morning glory vines tucked away in a mountain bend. Visiting Qipan Xian Valley allows one to feel the weight of history. It is also an ecological haven. In recent years, over 8,000 fruit trees of 46 varieties—including pears, peaches, and plums—have been planted on the surrounding hills. In the near future, this place will become a forestry sightseeing area filled with birdsong, floral scents, and abundant fruit.

Qipan Xian Valley is like a garden unbound by space, or an enormous potted landscape. It consists of peculiar rocks, steep cliffs, beautiful waters, serene valleys, cascading waterfalls, dense forests, and tranquil rural scenery. With its ever-changing seasonal views, it is a masterpiece of nature’s artistry, maintaining both its innate ethereal beauty and its pristine natural form.

The scenic area is home to many peculiar rocks—some resembling celestial beings, others like lions, elephants, cats, or mice, and even bats or frogs, all sparking the imagination. There are also numerous upright peak forests, steep and broad cliffs, and uniquely shaped rock and cliff formations. Twin gorges cascade like white silk, while misty rains in Qipan cleanse the dust from one’s heart.

Two waterfalls, each 80 meters high—one in the south and one in the north. One roars like surging waves, the other drizzles like scattered pearls, both cascading down from the mountaintop. Together, they are like an orchestra performing with the gentle tones of Jiangnan silk and bamboo music. One is majestic and powerful, the other soft and murmuring, creating a unique charm...

The scenery in the scenic area changes endlessly with the seasons. When fog and clouds rise, the peaks float above the sea of clouds like islands in the ocean. As clouds climb up the valleys, it seems as if immortals are ascending to heaven. After the rain clears, the mountains and rocks appear fresh and clean, with insects and birds singing in unison under the boundless blue sky, highlighting the exquisite beauty of Qipan Xian Valley. The lush vegetation and verdant forests blend organically, with biological and non-biological resources in harmonious coordination, forming a pleasant ecological environment. It is a natural oxygen bar bestowed upon humanity by nature.

The main tourist activities in the scenic area include leisure sightseeing, canyon rafting, outdoor adventure, board games and entertainment, farm-style dining, flower and nursery appreciation, and seasonal fruit picking.
