This hiking event took place in the scenic yet rugged Laoshan Mountain Scenic Area in Qingdao. Participants set off from Diaolongzui, passing by Mingdao Temple, Qipanshi, and Narayanh cave, before finally arriving at Huayan Temple. Along the way, a lunch break and rest were arranged in the village of Diaolongzui, and in the afternoon, an activity involving playing in the spring water at Devil’s Beach was scheduled. This rich itinerary allowed participants to not only enjoy the thrill of the outdoors but also appreciate the beauty of autumn.

As a key piece of outdoor gear featured in the event, the Beidou satellite watch sparked great interest among participants from the very beginning. After picking up their daily supplies at the gathering spot, everyone boarded the bus together to head to the Diaolongzui starting point. Although the event took place in the picturesque Qingdao Laoshan Scenic Area and the overall hiking difficulty was relatively low, there were still low-lying dangerous rapids and overgrown, perilous paths. Every step forward was fraught with challenges. Fortunately, everyone persevered“with the belief of being fearless and never lost”, as well as the spirit of mutual support and advancing together, forging ahead all the way.

During the lunch break, outdoor guides and participants discussed and reviewed the first half of the hike, gaining a lot from the exchange. When it came to the practical use of outdoor gear, seeing the great interest in the Beidou satellite watch, the organizers specially invited professionals to demonstrate its features such as satellite timekeeping, satellite positioning, satellite altitude measurement, compass, and weather forecasting on-site. This allowed participants to intuitively understand the superior performance and multifunctionality of the Beidou satellite watch.

After the lunch break, participants geared up once more and headed toward the finish line——at Huayan Temple. The hiking journey still held many difficulties, but also plenty of fun moments. When passing by the Devil’s Beach Spring, no one wanted to miss the chance to connect with nature, so everyone jumped into the water to play and laugh, filling the mountain with joy and cheer.
Beyond the scenic experience along the hike, upon reaching the endpoint, participants were also treated to a lavish seafood feast that had been prepared in advance, bringing a perfect end to this Qingdao Laoshan hiking adventure.
