Qianxi Hundred-Zhang Rock

Qianxi Hundred-Zhang Rock is located 4 kilometers west of Xinchang County. The most scenic section stretches from Yu’ao to Ding Village, where the stream flows beneath piles of rocks, surging through crevices. A stretch of large boulders and towering cliffs on both sides creates a powerful echo of the rushing water. The area is dotted with attractions along the riverbanks, combining peaks, valleys, caves, and waterfalls in a naturally wild landscape. Notably, the two steep cliffs of Hundred-Zhang Rock lean toward each other, forming a massive cave about 40–50 meters high and over 30 meters deep. A waterfall cascades from above, splashing against the cave walls midway and turning into a misty spray that drifts down gently. Stepping into the cave, one is greeted by a faceful of fog. Even in the peak of summer, it offers a rare cool sanctuary.
