The Huishan Architectural Complex is located in Huishan Village, Huishan Town, Xinchang County. Among the well-preserved structures are the Jingsheng Hall, Youning Hall, Yang Chengfei Archway, Zhiyou Tiandi Archway, Xiaoyin Xuan Archway, and Gaotai Archway, among over a dozen ancient buildings. The village also retains numerous historical relics such as residences, academies, shops, and ponds, all characterized by distinct local features. These serve as important examples for studying traditional villages guided by Confucian ideals, as well as typical representations of scientifically planned and laid-out traditional rural settlements.

The Huishan Architectural Complex is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Zhejiang Province.

The Huishan Architectural Complex is situated in Huishan Village, Huishan Town, Xinchang County. Among the well-preserved structures are the Jingsheng Hall, Youning Hall, Yang Chengfei Archway, Zhiyou Tiandi Archway, Xiaoyin Xuan Archway, and Gaotai Archway, among over a dozen ancient buildings. The many historical sites in Huishan Village—including residences, academies, shops, and ponds—exhibit distinct local characteristics. They provide significant evidence for the study of traditional villages and towns that were guided by Confucian principles. They also serve as model examples for examining the scientific layout and planning of traditional settlements.

On January 13, 2017, the People's Government of Zhejiang Province designated it as part of the seventh batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units.

Huishan Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Xinchang County. It was established as Huishan Township in 1950, reorganized as a commune in 1958, reinstated as a township in 1983, and upgraded to a town in 1989. In 1992, Huishan Town, Xintian Township, and Anding Township were merged to form the current Huishan Town. Located south of the county seat, it is 21 kilometers from the county center. Covering an area of 60.7 square kilometers, it has a population of 27,000. The Xin-Hui Highway passes through the town.
