Xu Changji Residence is a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Xu Changji Residence is located in Dongcheng Subdistrict, Huangyan District, Taizhou City, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

Xu Changji Residence is located in the middle section of Baishu Lane, Dongcheng Subdistrict, Huangyan, and is a mid-Qing Dynasty building. The property covers a land area of 994.2 square meters, with a total width of 11.9 meters, a depth of 6.5 meters, and a central bay width of 4.5 meters. The entrance gate is a grey-carved structure situated on the central axis of the building and constructed from blue-glazed stone.

The Xu family’s building complex is quite large, with its architectural layout largely preserved intact. The corridors, eaves, bracket sets, and moon beams feature exquisite carvings. According to the Xu Family Genealogy, Changji was conferred the military title of Cavalry Officer and was born in the 33rd year of the Qianlong reign and died in the 28th year of the Daoguang reign. The Xu family was a prominent commercial dynasty of the time, and their residence was built to a considerable scale and standard, holding significant value for historical research and cultural heritage preservation.

On January 13, 2017, it was designated as part of the seventh group of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province.
