Beijing International Book City

Beijing International Book City opened in 2007 and is located within the Beijing Publishing and Distribution Logistics Center complex in Taihu Town, Tongzhou District. Covering an area of 80,000 square meters, it is the largest publishing exhibition venue in China and the country's biggest bookstore. The book city features permanent booths set up by publishing houses, bringing together nearly all of China’s publishing houses, nearly 100 private booksellers, as well as about 300 overseas publishers from 48 international publishing groups including Penguin and HarperCollins. It displays and sells over 500,000 types of publications, including Chinese and foreign language books, antiquarian books, discounted books, and audiovisual products. It regularly hosts book exhibitions and sales events catering to various customer needs such as group purchases, wholesale, and library collections.
