Twin Boys Snow-Covered Peaks

The Twin Boys Snow-Covered Peaks are located five kilometers south of Songyang County. At the summit, two solitary rock formations stand tall. When snow blankets the mountaintop and viewed from the south, they strikingly resemble two facing servants—so lifelike in form and spirit. When seen from the north and the side, they look like a bald monk carrying a woman on his back, hence the common name “The Monk Carrying His Wife.”

The Twin Boys Peak is connected to other peaks such as NanYan Mountain to the east and west. The rugged mountain terrain features dense clusters of rocks resembling a forest, including stone stalagmites, a natural stone arch, the Eight Immortals Altar, the Cloud-Reclining Rock, and the Horse Hoof Spring, earning it the nickname “Little Mount Emei.”
