Songyang Qingyun Pagoda

Songyang Qingyun Pagoda is a cultural tourism attraction.

Qingyun Pagoda is located about 5 kilometers southeast of the county town, near Yinmeng Village in Yangxi Township. It is named for the meaning of "ascending to the blue clouds on the path to success." Also, because it sits on Qingmeng Mountain, it is also called Qingmeng Pagoda.

Constructed during the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty (1573–1620) with donations from then-county magistrate Lin Dajia, it features a six-sided, seven-story design. This brick-and-wood structure displays clear characteristics of its period and is of great reference importance for researching ancient high-rise building techniques.

The pagoda was originally one of the “Ten Scenic Spots of Songyang,” known as “Green Waves at Tower Stream.” The ancient pagoda, old trees, and surrounding landscape blend seamlessly, enhancing each other’s charm with an air of timeless elegance and radiance. It is now a county-level cultural relics protection unit.
