The Former Site of the Soviet Government in Gaoting Township, Yuyan District is a cultural relic protection unit of Songyang County and a classic red tourism destination.

Former Site of the Soviet Government in Gaoting Township, Yuyan District (1916): Located at No. 85, Gaoting Village, Fengping Township. Covering an area of 265 square meters, it faces west with an eastern orientation, features an earthen-and-wood structure, a lime-soil diagonal grid floor, a flush gable roof, and double-sloped clay tiles. In July 1935, the General Branch of the Communist Party of China in Gaoting Township was established here, along with the founding of the Soviet Government in Gaoting Township.

Gaoting Village: Also known as Tingchuan, Gaoting Village is located 72 kilometers west of Songyang County and lies to the west of the county. It is a revolutionary base village that once served as the seat of Gaogi Township in the early years after liberation. The former site of the Soviet Government is located here. The village currently has 7 villager groups, 152 households, and 535 residents, with an average per capita rural income of 3,267 yuan and collective rural economic income of 34,000 yuan.
