Qinglong Weir

Qinglong Weir is a cultural relic protection unit of Songyang County.

Qinglong Weir (Song Dynasty): Located in Shuinan Subdistrict. The weir’s inlet is at the confluence of the Songyin Stream’s southern bank and Zhuxi Source. The water channel runs from west to east, passing through the foot of Dushan Mountain, Wayaotou, Shuinan, Chengxu, and other villages, before joining Huangkeng Source at Hengshan Village. It has a total length of 7 kilometers and irrigates an area of 186.5 hectares.

Protected area: The area extending 2 meters outward from the perimeter of the entire structure is designated as the protected area.

Construction control zone: The area extending 20 meters outward from the perimeter of the entire structure is designated as the construction control zone.

Shuinan Subdistrict: Established in April 2012, Shuinan Subdistrict is located on the southern bank of the Songyin Stream. With its beautiful mountains and clear waters, pleasant environment, and convenient transportation, it is a newly established administrative division by the Songyang County Party Committee and County Government to implement the development strategy of “industrial expansion northward and urban advancement southward.” It governs 20 administrative villages, 2 communities, and has a population of 14,000.
