The former residence of He Liankui is located on Zhongzhong Lane 7 in Xiping Subdistrict, Songyang County. It is a late Qing Dynasty building and a representative example of residential architecture in southwestern Zhejiang.

On January 13, 2017, it was designated as part of the seventh batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province.

Located in the southeastern part of the Songgu Basin, it is 68 kilometers east of Lishui and 121 kilometers northeast of Jinhua.
