Longquan Grand Canyon

Longquan Mountain is located within the BaiShanzu National Nature Reserve in Longquan City, Zhejiang Province. Its main peak, Huangmaojian, stands at an altitude of 1,929 meters, making it the highest peak in Jiangsu and Zhejiang. With altitudes and temperatures similar to those of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, the area boasts numerous highland-specific natural wonders such as alpine lakes, high mountain meadows, sea of clouds, and rime-covered pines.

Currently, six major scenic areas have been opened: Longquan Grand Canyon, Wilderness Mountain Villa, Cliffs and Exotic Pines, Seven Star Pools, Huangmaojian Peak, and Ou River Source. The spectacular sights include unique pines and rocks, deep pools and waterfalls, a "Buddha’s halo" above the cloud line, and the naturally-formed, thousand-meter-tall Longquan Giant Buddha, all of which are truly awe-inspiring.

The scenic area features a circular walking trail. Strolling through the mountains, especially during spring and summer, you’ll be greeted by over 60 varieties of century-old azaleas in full bloom — a breathtaking sight that feels like stepping into a fairyland.
