Panlirong Kiln Site

The Panlirong Kiln Site is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Zhejiang Province.

The Panlirong Kiln Site is located in Zhukou Town, Qingyuan County, dating back to the Southern Song Dynasty. It is a kiln site in Zhejiang Province primarily known for producing black-glazed tea bowls, with its products clearly imitating the style of the Jian Kiln. The site dates to the early Southern Song period. Excavated kiln tools at the Panlirong site include M-shaped saggars, funnel-shaped saggars, round pads, hand-molded support pillars, and cylindrical washers.

Zhukou Town: Zhukou Town is situated in the northwest of Qingyuan County. To the east it borders Sishan Township, to the west it meets Songxi County in Fujian Province, to the south it neighbors Pindu Town, and to the north it adjoins Huangtian Town. The Zhukou Stream flows through the entire town, from which the town gets its name. The town covers an area of 171.9 square kilometers, comprising 16 administrative villages, 65 natural villages, and a population of 11,000, of which 9,788 are agricultural residents, with a population density of 76 people per km².
