Baishi Bay Scenic Area

Baishi Bay is located among the rolling mountains just three kilometers from Pujiang County. The area features massive rocks, lakes, streams, waterfalls, caves, and vast expanses of wild broadleaf forests. The sightseeing route extends over 10 kilometers and is equipped with service facilities such as a reception resort, stilted wooden cabins, tea houses, the Baishi Academy, and camping and barbecue areas. It is a tourist destination rich in scenic resources, boasting an excellent ecological environment, and perfect for leisure, sightseeing, vacationing, and entertainment. The mountain gullies reveal smooth pebbles polished by years of flowing water, which, under the winter sunlight, take on a snow-white hue, giving this canyon its beautiful name — "Baishi Bay" (White Stone Bay).

Baishi Bay Scenic Area was developed and constructed in 2000, covering a total area of approximately 180,000 square kilometers. It consists of two canyons, eastern and western, each stretching over 30 kilometers. The scenic area is characterized by continuous mountain ranges, lush forests, spectacular streams and waterfalls, fresh air, peculiar rocks, mysterious caves, and cascading pools and waterfalls that flow year-round. Its natural landscape remains incredibly pristine and rustic, resembling a dreamlike paradise on Earth. The scenic area has successively completed developments including a leisure reception zone, a camping and barbecue zone, the Tianlong Waterfall Viewing Zone, as well as areas for leisure, entertainment, outdoor sports, fitness, and vacation, forming an eco-friendly mountain-water resort.
